Drew Dober LAS VEGAS – Few would have guessed that in a bloody three-round battle it would be the takedowns of Drew Dober that would make the difference against Scott Holtzman . And yet that’s exactly what happened, as Dober (16-7 MMA, 2-3 UFC) using his wrestling and his ground game to get the slight edge over Holtzman (8-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in a fight where both men poured some blood on the floor, resulting in a unanimous decision victory for Dober with scores of 29-28 across the board. The lightweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC 195 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following additional prelims on UFC Fight Pass and ahead of a main card on pay-per-view. Dober seemed to surprise Holtzman early on by eschewing the standup game in favor of scoring with takedowns and looking to control the fight from top position
