Sage Northcutt , the 19-year-old rising star from Texas A&M, could take a break from college in the wake of his UFC success. After a successful octagon debut at this past Saturday’s UFC 192 at Toyota Center in Houston, not far from his home in Katy, Texas, the UFC lightweight said the books might have to wait – training full-time will make him a bigger competitive threat. “As of now, I’m still a freshman, because I’m 19,” Northcutt told FOX Sports 1’s “UFC Tonight” on Wednesday. “But last semester, I was taking full-time classes and the workload is so much that you really don’t get time to train.
