HOUSTON – Sergio Pettis dominated the first two rounds, then did well to survive the third against a game and aggressive Chris Cariaso . In the end, it was enough to earn Pettis (13-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) a unanimous decision victory over Cariaso 17-8 MMA, 7-6 UFC) with scores of 29-27, 29-27, and 29-28. The flyweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC 192 event at Toyota Center in Houston. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass ahead of additional prelims on FOX Sports 1 and a main card on pay-per-view. Pettis got off to a fast start in this one, yet had to drag himself across the finish line in the end.
