RIO DE JANEIRO – Vitor Miranda managed to turn Clint Hester ’s takedown-heavy attack against him, thanks to a well-timed knee in the second round. That’s when Miranda (11-4 MMA, 2-1 UFC) took advantage of a momentarily stunned Hester (11-5 MMA, 4-2 UFC), reversing him onto his back and battering him with punches and elbows until referee Herb Dean was forced to call a TKO stoppage at the 2:38 mark of Round 2. The middleweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC 190 event at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass ahead of additional prelims on FOX Sports 1 and a main card on pay-per-view
