RIO DE JANEIRO – Antonio Silva may have finished the first round against Soa Palelei on his back, getting his head bounced off the mat, but he came back with a vengeance to start the second. After hurting Palelei (22-5 MMA, 4-3 UFC) with knees, Silva (19-7 MMA, 3-4 UFC) dropped his foe with a stinging uppercut, then finished him off with strikes on the mat, bringing about the TKO finish 41 seconds into Round 2. The heavyweight bout was part of the main card of today’s UFC 190 event at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
