LAS VEGAS – After spending the first few minutes of the fight absorbing kicks to almost every surface on his body, Cody Pfister remembered his wrestling and got to work grinding out a win against Yosdenis Cedeno . On the strength of his performance in rounds two and three, Pfister (12-4-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) outworked Cedeno (10-5 MMA, 1-3 UFC) to earn a unanimous decision victory (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). The bout opened up the preliminary card of today’s UFC 189 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
