Cody Garbrandt LAS VEGAS – Marcus Brimage refused to concede a disadvantage in speed and accuracy against UFC newcomer Cody Garbrandt . While it helped him gain back some ground, it ultimately led to his downfall. Brimage (7-4 MMA, 4-3 UFC) walked into a well-timed right hand from Garbrandt (6-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC), the newest protege of Team Alpha Male, and was out on his feet before punches finished him. The bantamweight fight was part of today’s UFC 182 event at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following earlier prelims on UFC Fight Pass and prior to the pay-per-view main card. The official end came at the 4:50 mark of the third frame as Brimage was knocked to the canvas
