Nevada State Athletic Commission officials are taking added precautions to make sure UFC 178’s flyweight championship headliner between Demetrious Johnson and Chris Cariaso is a fair fight. After subjecting each 125-pound fighter to a round of random blood and urine tests earlier this month, Johnson and Cariaso were tested again today, less than two weeks out from the event. Cariaso announced the news to MMAjunkie on Wednesday while MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani reported news of Johnson’s test on Twitter . “They showed up at my door and said, ‘Alright, we’re here,’” Cariaso said. “I had just got back from my run. I think it’s pretty cool that they’re doing such a great job of trying to clean up this sport.
