BALTIMORE – Yancy Medeiros had a tough task on his hand, fighting someone like Jim Miller on a week’s notice. But while Medeiros (9-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) gave Miller (24-4 MMA, 13-3 UFC) a few fits early, Miller settled in and took the fight to the canvas, where he was able to fairly quickly latch onto a guillotine choke that put Medeiros to sleep.
