Not him. “I know I’m going to be world champion,” Scoggins said following his second straight UFC win at Saturday’s UFC 171 event. “You shouldn’t expect anything less from yourself, and I know where I’m headed.” Bold words for a 21-year-old fighter with nine professional fights, but you’d be hard pressed to find a fighter more confident and joyful about his work.
