NEWARK, N.J. – When his left hook connected early on in the first round, Clint Hester must have thought he had it won. A follow-up right sent Andy Enz reeling, and it looked like another TKO finish was in the cards. What he didn’t know yet was that Enz had a head of stone, and would be standing in front of him until the very end, at which point Hester would have to settle for a unanimous decision victory (30-27, 30-27, 30-26) rather than a quick stoppage. The middleweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC 169 event at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass ahead of additional prelims on FOX Sports 1 and a main card on pay-per-view.
