Ex-champ Rashad Evans rebounded in a big way at UFC 161, but he’ll need medical clearance before he resumes his comeback. Evans, who won a split decision over former champ Dan Henderson at this past Saturday’s pay-per-view event, was suspended indefinitely by the Manitoba Boxing Commission, which today forwarded medical suspensions to MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). UFC 161 took place at MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The event’s main card aired live on pay-per-view following prelims on FX and Facebook. All 24 fighters on the card were either suspended indefinitely or received 14-day terms. Ryan Jimmo , who fought a grueling bout with Igor Pokrajac on the event’s main-card, was given an indefinite term, as well as Pat Barry , who suffered a quick TKO loss to Shawn Jordan in the pay-per-view opener.
