Two days after a comeback win over light heavyweight Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in UFC Fight Night 38′s main event, Dan Henderson is apparently eager to get back in the cage. Both events take place in Las Vegas. However, Henderson (30-11 MMA, 7-5 UFC), who scored a third-round TKO win over Rua in this past Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 38 headliner, offered to fill in for Weidman and fight Machida, who was a recent replacement for Vitor Belfort. Henderson suffered a split-decision defeat to Machida at UFC 157 in February 2013.
