Former UFC heavyweight champions Andrei Arlovski and Frank Mir finally had their long-awaited showdown more than 10 years after it was first expected in UFC 191’s co-main event. Both fighters entered the contest on surprising winning streaks after low points in their career. In the end, it was Arlovski (25-10 MMA, 14-4 UFC) that continued his resurgence and halted Mir’s (18-10 MMA, 16-10 UFC) with a lackluster unanimous decision victory .
