UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barao  one-upped his first victory over Urijah Faber  with a first-round knockout of “The California Kid” in the main event of Saturday’s UFC 169 event. Barao (32-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC), who also defeated Faber (30-7 MMA, 6-3 UFC) at UFC 149 in June 2012, came out victorious for a second time in what was his first true title defense since being promoted from interim to undisputed champion. The victory, which aired on pay-per-view from Newark, N.J.’s Prudential Center, pushed Barao’s unfathomable unbeaten streak to 33 consecutive fights, seven of which have come inside the UFC’s octagon. Even though Faber complained about the stoppage, the performance further elevated Aldo’s pound-for-pound status in the sport
