Filed under: News , UFC After months of waiting, Nick Diaz finally today reached a settlement with the Nevada State Athletic Commission that saw his five-year ban and hefty fine reduced to 18 months and $100,000 . The process for Diaz (26-9 MMA, 7-6 UFC) to get to this point was a long and arduous one. He hasn’t fought since a January 2015 bout with Anderson Silva (33-6 MMA, 15-2 UFC), and for the first time since shortly after that contest, the future of the onetime UFC welterweight title challenger has some clarity.
