One of December’s most anticipated bouts will no longer take place because lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov is out of his scheduled contest with Tony Ferguson due to injury. Nurmagomedov (22-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) and Ferguson (19-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) were slated to face off at The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale on Dec. 11 event in Las Vegas, potentially for a shot at the UFC lightweight belt.
