UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor was hit with a $150,000 fine and 50 hours of community service for his part in the UFC 202 pre-event press conference incident with Nate Diaz in August. McGregor (20-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC) and his camp, along with Diaz (19-11 MMA, 14-9 UFC) and his camp, were involved in a chaotic scene inside MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where Diaz left the press conference prematurely and then threw a bottle that prompted “The Notorious” to throw back several objects of his own, including bottles and Monster energy drink cans. Today’s hearing resulted in a punishment that ended up being far more severe than most expected
