Elias Theodorou won the Ultimate Fighter: Nations Middleweight Tournament, stopping Sheldon Westcott at the season finale on Wednesday night in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Theodorou put on a striking display, winning the contest by technical knockout at 4:41 of the second round to earn the coveted six-figure contract with the UFC. “This is honestly the greatest moment of my life,” Theodorou said in his in-Octagon interview. Westcott took center Octagon first, pressuring Theodorou into a clinch battle. Westcott secured the back, but his opponent defended well, working to his feet and eventually shaking the attacking fighter off and onto the ground. The fight returned to the feet, and Theodorou landed two knees and remained the active fighter with the strikes through the end of the opening round.
