LAS VEGAS – “Maestro” Dong Hyun Kim ’s patient groundwork edged out Brendan O’Reilly on the scorecards despite a late-fight rally where he lost positions. Kim (14-8-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) might not have been in a rush to finish O’Reilly (6-3 MMA, 1-3 UFC), preferring to hold position and steadily score points, but he got the job done with unanimous 29-28 scores. The lightweight bout opened up the preliminary card of today’s TUF 24 Finale event at The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass ahead of the rest of the card on FS1.
