Carla Esparza LAS VEGAS – Almost one year to the date after the UFC announced the addition of a strawweight division,  Carla Esparza graduated from “The Ultimate Fighter 20″ to become the first 115-pound champ in promotional history with a submission of Rose Namajunas . Esparza (10-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC), former Invicta FC champ, dominated Namajunas (2-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) in grappling, repeatedly taking her to the mat and working ground and pound, before forcing Namajunas to give up her back and submit to a rear-naked choke at the 1:26 mark of the third frame. The inaugural women’s strawweight title bout was the main event of today’s TUF 20 Finale event at The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas
