Tony Ferguson has revealed a matchup with Michael Chandler is in the works for later this year. Ferguson (25-6 MMA, 15-4 UFC), a former interim UFC lightweight champion, wrote on social media Saturday that he’s been in discussions for a showdown with Chandler (22-7 MMA, 1-2 UFC) in April or June. The matchup had yet to be reported publicly, but when Chandler answered a fan question on Twitter about his desire to fight Conor McGregor, it prompted Ferguson to put his cards on the table and question whether the former Bellator champ really wants to fight (via Twitter ): There’s My Bitch!!! @MikeChandlerMMA The Brass @danawhite @ufc Relayed Your Message Saying You Would Be Ready For Me April/June.
