Jose Torres is days away from fighting for a title in only his third professional bout. Pressure isn’t new to Torres, however, because the 24-year-old was considered one of the best amateur fighters in the world before his pro debut in March at Titan FC 37. Torres (2-0) will face Abdiel Velazquez (7-2) for the interim flyweight title in the co-main event of Titan FC 40, which takes place Friday at Bank United Center in Coral Gables, Fla. The card will stream live on UFC Fight Pass. While Torres was dominant on the amateur circuit, he was occasionally taken to a decision.
