Cub Swanson (21-6 MMA, 6-2 UFC) will be looking to rebound from a loss to Frankie Edgar (18-4-1 MMA, 12-4-1 UFC) that snapped an impressive six-fight winning streak that had him in the discussion as a future title contender. He’ll be looking to get back on track against Max Holloway (12-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC), the 23-year-old Hawaiian riding his own five-fight winning streak. It’s one of the most compelling fights available at featherweight, but it’s hardly being talked about with the blitz of Paige VanZant (4-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) coverage, complaints about Chris Camozzi (21-9 MMA, 6-6 UFC) getting a late replacement slot against Ronaldo Souza (21-3 MMA, 4-0 UFC) and focus on the tremendous main event between Lyoto Machida (22-5 MMA, 14-5 UFC) and Luke Rockhold (13-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC). Check out Ben Fowlkes’ take on the situation in the video above.
