Chad Mendes continues to tease a potential MMA comeback by posting an array of intense training videos. The former two-time UFC featherweight title challenger announced his retirement in December 2018 after suffering a TKO loss to current 145-pound champion Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 232, but he appears to be getting the itch to fight again. Mendes (18-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) has looked in great shape lately, actively training at Team Alpha Male with boxing coach Joey Rodriguez. He took to Instagram on Monday night to suggest that he’s open for a return if the numbers are right.
