Headed into his fight against Joe Soto at Tachi Palace Fights 20 in August, bantamweight Terrion “Flash” Ware had won six bouts in a row, but came up short and lost. Even with the loss, however, Ware is not letting it get him down, as he feels he was able to perform well and, considering where his opponent is now, that his time could be coming shortly. “This last fight (against Soto) was a tough fight, and even though I felt my stand-up was there, he’s a really good grappler and he ended up catching me in the third round,” Ware told MMAWeekly.com. “I look back on it now, and he just fought in the UFC against one of the best fighters in the world, so the way I feel is that I can hang with the top fighters in my weight class and it’s just a matter of time before I get to the UFC.” Following his loss to Soto, Ware made a change to his training routine that he feels will benefit him going forward.
