Jake Shields Veteran fighter Jake Shields was the top earner at this past weekend’s WSOF 17 event after earning a disclosed payday of $65,000, of which $35,000 was a win bonus. MMAjunkie today obtained the list of disclosed paydays from the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Shields submitted fellow welterweight Brian Foster, who earned $15,000, in Saturday’s NBCSN-televised headliner. The Jan. 17 event took place at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The overall disclosed payroll for the event was $117,330
