Mansur Abdul-Malik had hype entering Dana White’s Contender Series 67 – and apparently for good reason. In Tuesday’s headlining bout at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Abdul-Malik (6-0) finished opponent Wes Schultz (6-2) with ground-and-pound elbows at 3:55 of Round 3. The back-and-forth bout was entertaining throughout. Both fighters have wrestling backgrounds, but Abdul-Malik appeared to be the stronger grappler.
