Dana White’s Contender Series features up and coming prospects and gives them the opportunity to earn a UFC contract.  On Tuesday, the seventh week of the promotion’s eighth season took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Tuesday’s fight card featured five fights.  Headlining was a heavyweight match between Danylo Voievodkin and Bailey Schoenfelder.  Voievodkin remained undefeated with the upset win over the Bellator veteran.   Following the event, UFC CEO  Dana White presented UFC contracts to all five winners: Alexia Thainara, Kevin Vallejos, Kevin Christian, Daniel Frunza and Danylo Voievodkin.
