Filed under: News , Videos Friday night might’ve played host to one of the most action-packed minutes in MMA history – and many fight fans probably didn’t even realize it. While Michael Chandler absolutely blasted Patricio Freire in Bellator 157’s MMA co-headliner, Mike Plazola unloaded a vicious highlight-reel knockout of his own in Victory FC 51’s opener. Chandler’s first-round starching of “Pitbull” aired on Spike in front of a large TV audience, but in a smaller UFC Fight Pass-streamed bout at Buccaneer Arena in De Moines, Iowa, Plazola (10-6) unloaded a crushing right hand and folded fellow 150-pounder Anthony Baccam (9-5). The bouts took place just moments apart, but don’t be surprised to see both of them on some Knockout of the Month and event KO of the Year lists.
