A middleweight rematch between former title challenger Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze headlined Saturday’s UFC Vegas 104 fight card at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Vettori had been out of action since June 2023 due to injury and planned to return to contender status in the 185-pound division. Dolidze made the walk to the octagon coming off back-to-back wins hoping to extend his winning streak. Despite the inactivity, Vettori entered the fight ranked No. 8 in the division while Dolidze occupied the No. 12 spot. Dolidze moved forward in the opening moments and the two exchanged leg kicks
