Former women’s bantamweight champion  Miesha Tate will return to the octagon on May 3 against No. 10 ranked  Yana Santos at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. “Cupcake” last fought in December 2023, defeating  Julia Avila via submission. The fight with Avila was Tate’s return to the bantamweight division after a one-fight stint as a flyweight.
