Cory Sandhagen rebounded from his first UFC setback in emphatic fashion. Looking to bounce back from a quick submission loss to current bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling, Sandhagen faced former title challenger Marlon Moraes in the UFC Fight Night 179 main event in October. In Round 2, Sandhagen rushed to the center of the octagon, peppering Moraes with jabs, body kicks and even a question mark kick. Just about a minute into the round, Sandhagen landed a beautiful spinning wheel kick to Moraes’ head, finishing him shortly after with ground and pound. Sandhagen (14-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) returns on Saturday against T.J. Dillashaw in the main event of UFC on ESPN 27, which takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
