Frank Mir comes to UFC 169 this week badly in need of a win in the midst of the only losing streak of his career – now three fights. But needing a big rebound is not new to Mir (16-8 MMA, 14-8 UFC), the former UFC heavyweight champion who on Saturday fights Alistair Overeem (36-13 MMA, 1-2 UFC) at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. After losing a heavyweight title fight to Brock Lesnar at UFC 100 in 2009, Mir looked to get back on track against Cheick Kongo at UFC 107 in Memphis.
