MELBOURNE, Australia – Richard Walsh had a good start, then had to survive a rough patch in order to beat Steven Kennedy on Saturday. Walsh (9-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC) used those good early moments, though, to carry him to a unanimous decision win over Kennedy (22-8 MMA, 0-2 UFC) on the UFC 193 preliminary card at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
