Magomedov (15-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) suffered his first-career loss when he dropped a unanimous decision to Michael Page (23-3 MMA, 2-1 UFC) this past Saturday at ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. After the loss, Magomedov released a statement hinting at a “nightmarish health condition” and went into details about what exactly it was that he was experiencing. “I’ve never felt this sick in the cage,” Magomedov told Red Corner MMA in a translated interview. “My legs were gone, my arms felt weak, and I’ve got a lot of health issues I don’t want to reveal. It was a whole bunch of problems that affected my performance.
