A hand injury has forced Brazilian Patricky “Pitbull” Freire out of a planned tournament final bout with Marcin Held , and the bout has been pulled from next week’s Bellator 120 event. In its place, Bellator MMA officials has added a featherweight bout between Fabricio Guerreiro (19-3 MMA, 1-2 BMMA) and Shahbulat Shamhalaev (12-1-1 MMA, 3-1 BMMA). “It’s unfortunate to lose a fight like Patricky vs. Held on May 17, but we were able to reschedule the Shahbulat-Fabricio fight which will be a great fight,” Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney stated. “Patricky will take some time to heal, and then we’ll look to reschedule his tournament championship fight with Marcin, who is one of the top young rising stars in our sport.” The new matchup takes place on the Spike TV-broadcast preliminary card of “Bellator 120: Alvarez vs.
