The six fighters scheduled for the three title fights made weight, but there were other issues. The early weigh-ins, which preceded this evening’s ceremonial affair, took place in New York City. The ceremonial weigh-ins take place at 6 p.m. ET at Madison Square Garden, the same venue that hosts Saturday’s event, which has a main card on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. Thiago Alves (21-10 MMA, 13-7 UFC) missed weight for his lightweight debut and his fight against  Jim Miller (27-8 MMA, 16-7 UFC), but the bout will go on
