Barcelos (11-1) faced some adversity but finished strong and ultimately held off challenger Bobby Moffett (8-3) to earn a unanimous-decision victory. With the performance, he could be the next RFA titleholder to earn a UFC contract. RFA 39 took place at Hammond Civic Center in Hammond, Ind., and the main card aired o AXS TV. In other action, lightweight Mike Santiago (18-9) pushed his winning streak to eight with a third-round TKO win over Luis Saldana (10-5), and undefeated light heavyweight Jordan Johnson (5-0) kept his undefeated record intact with a third-round submission win over Shaun Asher (11-3-1).
