Former light heavyweight champion  Lyoto Machida scored a brutal knockout win over former two-division titleholder  Randy Couture when they two fought at UFC 129 in April 2011.   Early in the second round, Machida unleaded a crane kick to the face of Couture.  Couture immediately fell to the canvas missing a tooth.  The kick mirrored wha this teammate  Anderson Silva did to  Vitor Belfort two months prior.  It would end up being Couture’s retirement fight
