A welterweight contest between two fighters looking for their first UFC win is the latest addition to September’s UFC on FOX Sports 1 3 event, as Sean Spencer (9-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) meets Yuri Villefort (6-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC). UFC officials today announced the new matchup. Featuring a light heavyweight headliner between Ryan Bader and Glover Teixeira , UFC on FOX Sports 1 3 takes place Sept. 4 and will serve as the lead-in to the new season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” The event will be the promotion’s return to Belo Horizonte, Brazil, after first visiting for UFC 147, which also took place at Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond one year ago. The evening’s main card airs on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on Facebook. The positioning of the Spencer vs. Villefort was not revealed but would seem a likely candidate for the preliminary bouts.
