Mike King ‘s failed drug test at UFC Fight Night 46 will be a costly one. UFC officials today announced that King (5-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) failed a drug test due to nandrolone, an anabolic steroid, following his submission loss to middleweight Cathal Pendred (14-2-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) at the July 19 event, which took place at The Helix in Dublin. As a result, he’s been forced to surrender his $50,000 “Fight of the Night” bonus . Additionally, he’s been suspended nine months, retroactive to the event, and must pass another drug test before he can fight again.
