The Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey hosts the UFC 302 pay-per-view event featuring a lightweight title bout at the top of the fight card.  Lightweight champion  Islam Makhachev puts his title on the line against former interim champion  Dustin Poirier in the UFC 302 main event.   It could be Poirier’s last octagon appearance.
