Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke After losing its scheduled main event between Ben Askren and Luis Santos just hours before the show began, ONE Championship bumped a non-title flyweight “superfight” between Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke and Yago Bryan Farias de Morais to headliner status. Although Amnuaysirichoke (6-0) is the current ONE Championship strawweight titleholder, he was booked for a non-title affair at 125 pounds opposite Farias de Morais (3-1). Even without the belt on the line and fighting outside his natural weight class, the champion emerged victorious with a unanimous decision after five rounds. Farias de Morais’ success in the bout was limited largely to the opening round. He landed some quick, stiff strikes and looked to have a solid understanding of the necessary range and reaction needed to land with consistency. Amnuaysirichoke didn’t allow that to last long, though.
