Filed under: AXS TV Fights , News , Videos Mackenzie Dern has long been considered a top prospect in women’s MMA, and with a move to the flyweight division, she may finally be ready to truly come into her own. After struggling to make the strawweight limit early in her career, the multiple-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion now makes that move at Friday’s LFA 24 event, which takes place at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix and airs on AXS TV. Dern (3-0) meets Mandy Polk (3-3) in a 125-pound contest. Ahead of that matchup, and courtesy of AXS TV Fights, check out Dern’s most recent outing, a March decision win over Katherine Roy , who was able to take the catchweight fight the distance but ultimately lost via unanimous decision at LFA 6
