The UFC’s penultimate pay-per-view of 2024 went down Saturday with UFC 309 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The main event saw heavyweight champion Jon Jones (28-1 MMA, 22-1 UFC) return from a 20-month layoff to take on Stipe Miocic (20-5 MMA, 14-5 UFC), and “Bones” blew through it with relative ease en route to a third-round TKO that further etched his name in the all-time octagon record books.
