The victory not only earned Ducote the 115-pound belt, but also a spot on SportsCenter’s Top 10. Additionally, a new champion was crowed at 135 pounds, as Phoenix Tournament 3 winner Taneisha Tennant concluded her ascension through the division by besting Lisa Verzosa by decision.
