Undefeated welterweight contenders  Shavkat Rakhmonov and  Ian Machado Garry collided in the UFC 310 co-main event on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.   The fight left one of them with the first blemish on their professional record and the other on their way to a title fight. Adding a layer to the storyline, the two briefly trained together in late 2022 and early 2023.  Rakhmonov entered the bout ranked third in the 170-pound weight class while Garry sat in the seventh spot in the rankings.
