Eddie Mendez has been to a few gyms. But there was something about Reign MMA that just felt like home. When UFC veteran Mark Munoz welcomed him with open arms, it went a long way for the California-based middleweight. Mendez (7-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) makes his UFC debut tonight against Daniel Sarafian (7-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at UFC on FUEL TV 10. UFC on FUEL TV 10 takes place today at Paulo Sarasate Arena in Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil. The main card airs on FUEL TV (8 p.m. ET) following prelims on Facebook (5:10 p.m.). Mendez will be fighting for the first time in more than a year, but he does have some big-show experience with a split-decision win over Fernando Gonzalez for Strikeforce in December 2011.
