The UFC made its return to Australia on Saturday with UFC 312 , which went down at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney and saw two champions retain their titles. In the main event, Dricus Du Plessis (23-2 MMA, 9-0 UFC) once again got the better of Sean Strickland (29-7 MMA, 16-7 UFC) with a unanimous decision victory in their rematch. Meanwhile, in the co-headliner, Zhang Weili (26-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) continued her strawweight reign with a unanimous decision over Tatiana Suarez (10-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC).
